Supreme Court Judge Justice N. Kotishwar Singh arrived at the closing ceremony of Nyay Abhyudaya- Techno-Legal Fest of National Forensic Science University (NFSU) located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. During this, he said that the law should take the support of science and technology to make the justice system more strong. Justice N. Kotishwar Singh also visited various state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities including the Center of Excellence (COE).

Supreme Court Judge Justice N. Kotiswar Singh arrived at the closing ceremony of 'Nyay Abhyudaya- Techno-Legal Fest' of the National Forensic Science University (NFSU), which is located at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He said here that the law will have to take the help of science and technology for the strengthening of the system of justice.

Justice N. Kotiswar Singh also visited some of the state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities like the Center of Excellence (COE). He also saw the indigenous products of the NFSU. In his address, he stressed the significance of keeping the law updated and adapting it according to the needs of the era.

Justice N. Kotiswar Singh said that in the present times, there is a need to connect law with scientific accuracy. In this context, he appreciated the efforts of NFSU in the forensic field and said that law alone is incomplete. To further strengthen the system of providing justice, law should take the help of science and technology. This will not only help in increasing efficiency, but justice will also become more efficient.

He also recalled his last visit to NFSU and appreciated the work of NFSU like education, research, investigation, and training. He also praised the visionary efforts of Vice Chancellor Dr. JM Vyas for giving NFSU a special place across the country.

The program was organized by the School of Law and Forensic Justice and Policy Studies at NFSU. Gujarat High Court Judge Ilesh J. Vora, retired Justice Sonia Gokani, retired Justice KJ Thacker, former Justice VP Patel, and NFSU Vice Chancellor Dr. JM Vyas were present on the stage in the closing ceremony.

In the closing ceremony, Prof. SO Junare delivered the welcome address. Prof. Poorvi Pokhriyal, Dean of the School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies and Campus Director of NFSU-Delhi, presented the program report. Newspapers of SLFJPS, NFSU Journal of Law and Artificial Intelligence, and NFSU Journal of Forensic Justice were also launched in the program.

Under the program, the 3rd National Technology Moot Court Competition and National Trial Advocacy Competition were organized. 61 teams from all over the country participated in these. At the end of the program, Dr. Judge Kaushal J. Thacker, Chairman of the Gujarat State Human Rights Commission, gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the Government of Gujarat.
