During the 122nd episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi highlighted the fervor of the Khelo India Games and young talents' achievements with countrymen. The Prime Minister stated that over 5,000 sports persons from across India took part in the Khelo India Games held recently in five cities of Bihar. The participants appreciated Bihar's hospitality and sportsmanship.

PM Modi stated that friends, the Khelo India Games in the previous days were a huge success. Five cities of Bihar were organized by 'Khelo India'. Matches of various categories were organized there. The athletes numbering more than five thousand from across India reached there. These athletes have appreciated Bihar's sportsmanship and affection they received from Bihar people.

PM said that the land of Bihar made this event even more special. This was the first time the Khelo India Youth Games were broadcast worldwide through the Olympic Channel. The world saw and appreciated the talent of India's young players. Maharashtra, Haryana, and Rajasthan were among the top three winners in this event, whom the PM specially congratulated.

A total of 26 records were made in Khelo India this time, which is a sign of the bright future of Indian sports. In weightlifting, Asmita Dhone of Maharashtra, Harshvardhan Sahu of Odisha, and Tushar Chaudhary of Uttar Pradesh caught everyone's attention by performing brilliantly. At the same time, Sairaj Pardeshi of Maharashtra created history by making three records. In athletics, Qadir Khan and Sheikh Zeeshan of Uttar Pradesh and Hansraj of Rajasthan also proved their talent. Bihar also made its strong presence felt by winning 36 medals.
