After the swearing-in of the new government, the ministers have taken charge of their respective departments. The ministers of the government have also started working in their respective departments. Meanwhile, the new Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said that the current air fares in the country will be reviewed. Said that he wants to make air travel more accessible to the common man by dealing with the issue of rising fares.

When asked about the swings in air costs, Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu stated that he wants to make airways the new railways. He stated that the actions to be done to keep airfares under control have yet to be determined, but his goal is to make air travel cheap for the average person. We will hold a policy meeting to take the required steps. Naidu stated that much has changed in the last ten years, including the launch of the Udan initiative by the government. However, it has been impacted by a number of external causes, including Covid.

Ram Mohan Naidu, aviation minister in the new government, said, "Whatever the reason is that ticket prices have increased... I really want to look deeply into this issue (and) work on how to make them a little more accessible to the people of this country."
