Google Accounts are being closed from today! If this is not done then the data of Photo, Mail and Drive will be lost

Google will start deleting inactive accounts from December 1st. Along with the account, the company will also delete the data stored in it like photos, mail, and files saved in the drive. Here we are giving you detailed information about which Google accounts will be deleted and how they can be saved.

Google has said that it is going to delete such accounts from its platform that are not in use for at least two years. Google has put these accounts in the inactive category.

If you have not logged in to your account for two years, then Google is going to close your account forever. For those users who have recently logged in, there is no need to worry.

Google has recently updated its account deactivation policy. According to this, if an account is not in use for more than two years, then Google can remove content from these accounts.

This includes Drive, Meet, Docs as well as YouTube and Photos. Please note that this policy applies only to personal accounts. Does not apply to organization-linked accounts.

Google also says that according to their internal analysis, most of these active accounts are likely to lack 2-factor authentication. Such accounts can be easily hacked.

Google says that if you want to keep your account from becoming inactive then you should log in at least once in two years. The account does not require any special login. If you use any service of Google then your account will be safe.
