Preparations are underway in India to build a building taller than Dubai's Burj Khalifa and Mumbai's Palais Royale. The Haryana government is planning this under the Global City Project, which spans 1,000 acres on the Dwarka Expressway near Gurugram.

Now, India is going to construct a taller building than Palais Royale. Therefore, a new building will be constructed in India, taller than Palais Royale. The Haryana government plans to construct the tallest building in India as part of its massive Global City Project. This project will come up along the Dwarka Expressway, near Gurugram, and will span 1,000 acres. It will be an integrated urban development project. According to State Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh, the project is currently in the proposal and request for proposal phase. The bidding process has yet to begin.
The proposed iconic tower will be a mixed-use development, featuring premium office space, global corporate headquarters, hospitality, observation decks, and public spaces. According to media reports, officials say that this building will serve not only as a commercial hub but also as a global symbol of Haryana's economic ambitions and urban transformation. It will be comparable to the international skylines of major cities in Singapore, Dubai, and Europe.
