Debutante Reshham Sahaani Shares about her Dream Debut in Hansal Mehta's Film Faraaz

Reshham Sahaani, the newest entrant in Bollywood, has recently made her debut in director Hansal Mehta's film, Faraaz. The 25-year-old, who was a commerce student at Mumbai's Mithibai College, never imagined that she would make her Bollywood debut one day. However, life had other plans for her. In a recent interview, Sahaani spoke candidly about her journey of becoming an actor and working with Mukesh Chhabra and Hansal Mehta.

Sahaani revealed that she was doing a workshop with casting director Mukesh Chhabra when he offered her an internship. Later, she joined his casting agency and happened to audition for a role in Faraaz. The movie is based on the true story of Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, a victim of the 2016 terrorist attack on Holey Artisan Cafe in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Sahaani was thrilled to be a part of the project, especially because it was directed by Hansal Mehta.

Talking about her experience of working on Faraaz, Sahaani said that it was a special experience for her. She enjoyed working with the cast and crew, making new friends, and learning a lot about life and acting. She added that a first is always the first, and Faraaz would always hold a special place in her heart.
