Contact status update will be visible only on WhatsApp's chat screen, a new feature is coming soon

Actually, the latest report has come out from wabetainfo, a website that keeps an eye on every update of WhatsApp. According to this report, very soon WhatsApp users will be able to check the status updates of contacts along with chatting.

A screenshot has also been shared in the Wabetainfo report. It can be seen in the screenshot that the contact's profile on the chat page will appear with a ring in the status of the status update.

By simply tapping on this ring, the user will be able to see the status of his contact.

Currently, two methods work to check the status of the contact. The user can check the status of contacts by going to the Updates tab. Apart from this, the status can be opened by tapping on the ring on the profile in the contact or chat list. However, very soon checking the status is going to be easier than before.

Actually, the new feature of WhatsApp has currently been introduced for Android beta users. Beta testers can install the latest version of the app 2.23.24.23 (WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.23 update) from the Play Store. This feature can be introduced to other users of WhatsApp in the coming days.
