Congress, sharpening its guaranteed strategy to woo the young voters of the country, released a manifesto named Yuva Nyay. Releasing the manifesto on social media, the party's national president Mallikarjun Kharge wrote, that as soon as the Congress government is formed in 2024, an employment revolution will be started by assuring the youth of the country of recruitment.
The country's youth are the target of five major announcements from Congress. The first of these announcements is Bharti Bharosa, which guarantees that the youth of the nation will be hired for approximately 30 lakh Central Government vacancies. The first job guarantee will be the second. This guarantees that young people with education who are under 25 will work for Rs 1 lakh a year, or Rs 8,500 a month. The government will introduce a law on the right to apprenticeship to address this. The third assurance is that there won't be any paper leaks. For this, too, the government will introduce legislation.
According to the manifesto, the fourth guarantee will be social security, under which a social security law will be made for pension to those working like truck drivers, mechanics, carpenters, delivery boys and taxi drivers. Apart from this, a fund of Rs 5 thousand crore will be created in the name of Yuva Roshni, which will be distributed equally among all the districts of the country. With this amount, youth below 40 years of age will be able to start startups.
