Tim Cook: Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that we have grown by double digits in India and so we are very happy. This is a new record for March quarter revenue for us. As I have said before, I see India as an incredibly exciting market and it is a key area of focus for us.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has expressed happiness over the company's performance in India. The company has set a record revenue in India for the quarter ending March 2024. However, Apple's overall revenue has declined by 4% during this period. iPhone sales have also declined by 10%.
Tim Cook said, "We grew by double digits in India and so we're very pleased with that. This is a new record for March quarter revenue for us. As I've said before, I see India as an incredibly exciting market, and “This is a major area of focus for us.”
Apple's Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said, “We are particularly pleased with our strong momentum in emerging markets. We set first-half revenue records in several countries and regions, including Latin America, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Turkey.
