BSA’s First Adventure Motorcycle Thunderbolt ADV Breaks Cover: 334cc Engine, Modern Features
BSA unveiled its first adventure motorcycle, the BSA Thunderbolt ADV, at EICMA 2025. This name marks a comeback after 53 years. It combines modern features with a classic touch. It features a 334cc engine, three ABS modes, and Bluetooth connectivity. This bike will be available in global markets by 2026. In India, it will compete with the Hero Xpulse 210 and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
After teasing for weeks, the company showcased its first-ever adventure motorcycle, the Thunderbolt ADV, at the ongoing EICMA 2025 show in Italy. The BSA Thunderbolt will be the first ADV from this classic-looking motorcycle maker, which has already launched the Gold Star 650, Bantam 350, and Scrambler 650.
The name Thunderbolt holds a special place in BSA's history. The last bike to roll out of the company's Birmingham plant in 1972 also carried this name. Close to 53 years later, BSA has returned to the market with this very name.
The Thunderbolt is all-modern in design, yet it features a classic touch. The bike somewhat resembles the Yezdi Adventure, but focuses on both touring and off-roading.
