In the matter of MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui, who was removed from his position as President of the Mumbai Youth Congress two days ago, the BJP has taken an assertive stance. The oldest party may appear to be on the side of minorities to win over more votes and win over people, but in actuality, it has harmed them the most, according to BJP leader Shehzad Poonawala.

He said that today Zeeshan Siddiqui has made clear what I had said six-seven years ago that Congress is the most anti-Muslim party. It may pretend that it is with the minorities for the sake of vote bank and appeasement, but in reality, it has caused the most harm to the minorities. Today Zeeshan Siddiqui himself is struggling with this. We have seen that Congress allowed one riot after another. Congress party used to say that Uddhav Sena was responsible for the Mumbai riots, but today they have allied. This is because Congress hates Muslims.

Earlier, MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui, who was removed from the post of president, alleged on Thursday that there is no place for Muslims in the party. Siddiqui, MLA from Vandre (East), also claimed that Congress has the worst communalism among all parties. He faced persecution because of his religion. Siddiqui said that I would not say that I would stay in Congress, but I would discuss my political options with my supporters.

Siddiqui's father and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui had recently left the party and joined the Ajit Pawar-led NCP.
