The 48th IPL 2025 match was between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. In the match, with a loss of 14 runs to Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals' captain Axar Patel was injured in the field. In fact, he was injured fielding at midwicket during the 18th over of KKR's game.
