Amazing feature coming in WhatsApp camera will not turn on as soon as you pick up the video call

WhatsApp: The second feature is that users will see the option of "Turn off your video" before receiving a video call. This means that the call can only be accepted as a voice call. If the camera is already off, then the confirmation option of "Accept without video" can also be seen.

WhatsApp is currently developing new features for its Android app, which serve to advance the audio and video calling functionality. Based on feature tracker WABetaInfo, Meta Platforms’ instant messaging service is currently developing three new calling features.

As reported, a preview of these new features has already been observed in the beta version 2.25.10.16 of WhatsApp's Android. It seems that, as per the beta version, users can now mute their mic even before they answer a voice call. This feature will be helpful in scenarios where users want their mic to be turned off prior to accepting the call.

The second feature is that users will see the option to "Turn off your video" before receiving a video call. This means that the call can be accepted only like a voice call. If the camera is already off, then the confirmation option of "Accept without video" can also be seen.

WhatsApp is testing another new feature, in which users will be able to send emoji reactions in real-time during a video call. For example, thumbs-up, laughing emoji, or heart emoji can be sent. This feature can be especially useful in group video calls when users want to express their feelings without interrupting the conversation.
