By 2025, Volvo, a major player in the Swedish auto industry, plans to introduce two additional electric vehicles to India. Volvo, which has vowed to only produce electric vehicles, plans to introduce the EX30 and EX90 electric SUVs to India by the end of the following year. Come, and let us know about these two EVs.

Volvo EX90

The Volvo EX90 electric SUV will be introduced as the brand's flagship EV and is based on the XC90 SUV. Launched in November 2022, the electric SUV is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, offering two power and torque output levels.

The base model generates 408 bhp power and 770 Nm torque, while the higher variant generates 517 bhp power and 910 Nm torque. Both variants are capable of running at a top speed of 180 kmph.

Volvo EX30

The smallest electric vehicle in the Swedish automaker's lineup is the EX30. With a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds, this electric SUV, which debuted on the global scene last year, is the fastest model in Volvo's lineup.

The front of the EX30 is adorned with the Volvo emblem and a closed grille. The LED headlights are shaped like the iconic Thor Hammer, and the taillights at the back wrap partially around the C-pillar and the tailgate. Additionally, the interior design is extremely simple.

There will be two different battery pack options available for the Volvo EX30. With just one motor, the base model can generate 272 horsepower. It is equipped with a 51 kWh battery, which helps in giving the electric SUV a range of 344 kilometres on a single charge.
