SkillArbitrage places 440 learners in 102 companies in its first 6 months
Gurugram (India), September 8: In just 6 months since it was launched, Gurugam-based edtech company SkillArbitrage has been able to find placements for 440 of its learners. They have been hired by as many as 102 organisations.
Set up in December 2022, SkillArbitrage trains working professionals from India and other developing countries to get international remote jobs, remote internships and freelance work in startups & SMEs in advanced economies like the US, UK and Canada. 70% 0f SkillArbitrage learners tend to be in their 30s or 40s.
Around 90 Indian companies and 12 international companies have hired learners in roles ranging from education counsellor, graphic designer, senior HR executive to accounting associate, data protection consultant, and assistant sales manager, among others.
Of the 440, 68 students have found full-time jobs, 26 have secured internships and 346 have opted for part-time consulting & freelancer roles.
Among the notable employers are MK Educational Development Group, Netapps, Masters’ Union, Concentrix, Strucvision, EFFAA group, PGKM (Millenium National School), Erekrut, The Eonian, Christian Medical College and Hospital Vellore, Infiniti Research, Silverlight Research Expert Network, Mahindra Finance, Capsitech, GS Lab, Digimus Technology, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Carrier, Suncap Telecom, ICICI Bank, A2Z HR Consultants Private Limited.
Another recent milestone was achieved by SkillArbitrage when 32 learners, who had enrolled for a three-month course offered to those keen to become Independent Directors, qualified the exam. The Independent Directors Databank – Online Proficiency Self Assessment Test is conducted by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), and said to be quite challenging.
