Tata Punch is currently one of the best-selling models in the brand's portfolio. Sales of the CNG-spec Tata Nexon are expected to start around September. It includes a micro switch 6-point cylinder mounting system single ECU unit and the use of high-quality kit materials. The same 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces 120 PS and 170 Nm in its regular form.

The Tata Punch will also run on twin-cylinder technology, while the original boot space usable in this car will only be 230 liters. Both cylinders will have a capacity of 60 liters (equivalent to water). This ready-fit CNG system has several features for better safety and performance.
It features a micro-switch and a 6-point cylinder mounting system. It also comes with a single ECU unit incorporated into high-grade kit materials. The same, 1.2L turbo petrol engine that is good for 120 PS and 170 Nm in the fully trimmed stock form, shall be remapped to produce less power and torque in the interest of fuel economy. This powertrain will come paired with a 5-speed MT or AMT.
As far as prices are concerned, the CNG variant will cost around 70 to 80 thousand rupees more than the regular version. Currently, Tata Nexon is available starting at Rs 8 lakh. It will rival Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG.
