Stock market recovered after a big fall, Sensex rose 422 points
Stock Market: On Tuesday, the Sensex rose 422.62 points in early trade to reach 78,387.61 points. NSE Nifty was at 23,776.25 points with a gain of 160.2 points.
The stock market on Tuesday opened up with the green mark on the second day of this week's trade. In front of the first few minutes opening, Sensex jumped over 78,000 with a gain of more than 400 points. With a jump of 422.62 points at the early moment of trade, Sensex is trading on 78,387.61. At the same time, with the gain of 160.2 points Nifty is trading at 23,776.25.
Titan, Adani Ports, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, Power Grid, and Tata Motors were the biggest gainers among the 30 companies listed on the Sensex. Only Zomato's stock was in loss.
In Asian markets, South Korea's Kospi and Japan's Nikkei were in profit, while China's Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng were in loss. US markets closed with a positive trend on Monday. International benchmark Brent crude fell 0.14 percent to $76.19 per barrel.
According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were sellers on Monday and sold shares worth Rs 2,575.06 crore net.
