Railway Sarkari Naukri: Railway Board appointed three CRS to fill the vacant posts, recruitment will be done in this department

The Railway Board has appointed three new Commissioners of Safety (CRS) to fill the vacant posts in the Commission of Railway Safety. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet had on October 18 approved the names of four senior Railway officials for CRS posts, after which the appointment orders were issued.

Indian Railways sources said that the fourth appointment is also in the process. The Commission of Railway Safety has 10 offices across the country and apart from these, its headquarters is in Lucknow, where the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety sits. Of these 10 offices, four – Northern Circle, South Central Circle, North-East Frontier Circle, and South Eastern Circle – did not have commissioners for some time and CRSs of other circles were holding additional charge of these offices.

The three officers who have been appointed CRS include Dinesh Chand Deshwal, Madhavi, and Brajesh Kumar Mishra. Deshwal was serving as Chief Bridge Engineer at North Western Railway Headquarters in Jaipur before taking over as CRS, Northern Circle, New Delhi.

Whereas, Madhavi was posted as Chief Communication Engineer in Southern Railway before her appointment as CRS of South Central Circle, Secunderabad. According to sources, he has not taken charge yet. Mishra has taken over as CRS of South Eastern Circle.
