Mumbai's first elevated nature trail walkway will start from Sunday; Know how much the ticket
Nature Trail Walkway: Mumbai's first elevated nature trail walkway is going to open for tourists and Mumbaikars. Its entry will be from Kamala Nehru Park in South Mumbai, after which it will pass through the forests of Malabar Hill and finally provide an opportunity to see the views of the Arabian Sea adjacent to Girgaon Chowpatty. The ticket price for the general public will be Rs 25 and for foreign tourists, it will be Rs 100.

The first-of-its-kind elevated nature trail walkway in Mumbai will be open to visitors and Mumbaikars on Sunday 30 March 2025. The walkway will pass through the forest. It will have an entrance from Kamala Nehru Park in South Mumbai, then pass through the forests of Malabar Hill, and finally provide an opportunity to gaze at the Arabian Sea overlooking Girgaon Chowpatty.
This nature trail walkway will also take you on a tour of the trees of Kamala Nehru Park in South Mumbai and then Firozshah Mehta Park. This will be inaugurated on Sunday 30 March 2025. This was stated by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagarani. BMC has constructed this project. This Tree Top Walk-like path developed in Singapore has been developed for the first time in Mumbai, which will provide Mumbaikars and tourists coming here with a new experience.
It has been constructed from wood, in which forests have been protected by reducing the use of machines. Most of the work in this has been done manually and hydraulics have been used. Its total cost has come to Rs 26 crore. This walkway is 470 meters long and spread over 2.4 meters wide, an elevated wooden deck, railing, supporting pillars on two sides and wooden joints have been used. Lighting has been arranged to enhance the beauty.
BMC says that more attention has been paid to the safety of tourists. Also, an access control system has been developed to control the number of tourists. This will make it easier to monitor and control the entire walkway. Not only this, emergency routes have also been arranged.
According to BMC, the ticket price for this walkway is Rs 25 for common people and Rs 100 for foreign tourists.
According to BMC, through this walkway, one will get an opportunity to see the rich natural beauty and biodiversity of Mumbai. In which there will be more than 100 plants of many types and there will also be a chance to see unique birds here. Apart from this, among the galloping animals, Sharda, Jharsarda, Indian Suladar Sharda, Nag, etc. can be seen.
