Indian-origin American MP Mr. Thanedar again endorsed Operation Sindoor. He also dismissed Trump's report of India-Pakistan cease-fire. He clarified that no basis or fact exists in the US President's claim. Indian-origin American Congressman Mr. Thanedar told on Monday that President Donald Trump has no grounds to claim the credit of halting the war between India and Pakistan. He attempted to blame him politically for doing so.

Speaking at the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh, Thanedar said it was natural for India to respond with 'Operation Sindoor' after the Pahalgam attack and the US had certainly acknowledged New Delhi's position. "The US had no role in it (in preventing the conflict). India has also denied any such thing. Trump has no basis to take credit for it," Thanedar said. "India and Pakistan are capable of resolving their issues. I don't think either India or Pakistan has invited the US for mediation," he said. Thanedar said India's response to the Pahalgam attack was measured and Pakistan should not have reacted to it. "It was not a war. So there was no such thing as a ceasefire," Thanedar said. Trump's announcement stemmed from his "penchant for being in the headlines".

He said he can't sleep if he is not mentioned in the 24-hour news. He wants to manage every news. So he keeps announcing new things that are newsworthy, but they are not well thought out. During this, Mr. Thanedar described Trump's policy on immigrants as harmful for America. He said that America is a country of immigrants. He advocated the need to reform the US immigration policy and said that the rules related to it have become outdated.

Earlier also, Indian-origin American MP Mr. Thanedar had strongly supported India's action. He also said that India has every right to protect its people. He said that America should always stand with its allies against terrorism. This is the time when India and America should together face common challenges and protect innocent people and democratic principles, human rights and religious freedom. Thanedar said that terrorism should not be tolerated and it is necessary to give a befitting reply to it.
