Basit Bashir, Kashmir’s famous cupping therapist, chiropractor and reflexologist

New Delhi (India),  August 14: Basit Bashir, who is known to be Kashmir’s renowned cupping therapist, chiropractor, and reflexologist, has opened his cupping therapy (Hijama) training center, where he treats people through cupping, chiropractic therapy, and reflexology. He fervently appeals to the youth to come forward and join his training center to create their employment avenues. 

Not only this, but to boost his campaign, Basit has started awareness initiatives regarding traditional treatment, Cupping Therapy, wherein he organized many free awareness Hijama camps. Along with this, Basit is one of Kashmiri’s foremost specialists in alternative healing.

According to Basit, one of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C. Cupping therapy was also introduced in the Muslim world by Prophet Muhammad, who promised Hijama to be the cure for all ailments except death.

Kashmiri’s one of the youngest cupping therapy experts, Basit Bashir, believes cupping can cure various ailments. To keep the use of medicines for health issues at bay, he uses traditional ways to treat various ailments, like Cupping Therapy and Chiropractic therapy, to treat various diseases, from bone alignment to other health issues. 

He added that to detail the nitty-gritty of Cupping Therapy, and special cups are put on a person’s skin for a few minutes to create suction. And this technique is not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures.

Along with this, Rahi Nazir, who had disc problems, is using cupping therapy and Chiropractic therapy and has reaped good results. Along with this, Many gymgoers also use this therapy to relax and increase blood flow in their bodies.
