Major accident during festival in Bengaluru, 100 feet high chariot fell on the crowd; one dead and many injured
A horrific incident took place during a festival in Bengaluru Rural, Karnataka when a 100-feet-high chariot fell on the people. One person has been reported dead in this tragic incident and many people are also reported to be buried under the chariot. At present the police are investigating the matter.

There was a tragic accident at the festival in Bengaluru Rural's Anekal where one person died and another got injured when a chariot that measured 100-feet collapsed. Police reported this on Saturday.
CK Baba, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bengaluru Rural, said that the incident took place around 6 pm on Saturday evening.
SP Bengaluru Rural said, "A 100-feet chariot fell during a festival in Anekal, Bengaluru Rural. One person died and another is undergoing treatment in the hospital."
Detailed information about the incident is awaited as officials are investigating the matter.
According to information, a 100-feet chariot carrying the idol of the goddess in the Madduramma Devi Jatre at a village fair in Hosur near Anekal in Bengaluru fell on the crowd. It is being told that the devotees were pulling this chariot when at one place this 100 feet high chariot fell on the people.
Panic set in among the riders on the chariot and pedestrians who were strolling around when the chariot collapsed. Some have been injured in the accident and one person has been killed. Rescue efforts are underway.
