Mahindra, the leading SUV maker in India, is getting ready to launch more products to its portfolio. In the upcoming months, the company plans to release the Mahindra Scorpio pickup truck, which is its most popular SUV, according to media reports. Who can resist the challenge this company's pickup vehicle offers?

According to the information provided by Jagran, Mahindra may launch a pickup truck version of Scorpio-Scorpio X in the Indian market in the coming months. The corporation has not given any such official information about it so far, but sources have created a claim that it can be brought in front of the market by the end of the next year or by 2026.

Because, according to the info, Mahindra is able to bring this pickup truck in ICE and also an electric version; updated bumper, lights, snorkel on an A-pillar, and an interior like Scorpio N.

Mahindra filed a patent in November 2023 itself for this design. After which the company also got the trademark of the name Scorpio X in India. But it is not yet clear whether the company will use the same name or not.

Though no information has been received about this yet, it is expected that the company can give a 2.2-liter capacity mHawk engine in it too. With which it can get 175 PS of power and 400 Newton meter torque. Along with this, it can be given a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission and 4WD capability. Its electric version can be given a range of up to 500 km on a single charge.

If Mahindra introduces Scorpio X in the pickup truck segment, then it will directly compete with powerful pickup trucks like the Isuzu D-Max and the Toyota Hilux. This Pickup Truck's ex-showroom price can be kept around Rs 25 lakh at the time of its launch.
