IIT girl student father pleaded to Railway Minister for justice, TTE misbehaved with her sleeping in train at midnight
Misbehave with Girl in Indian Railway: A ticket inspector (TTE) misbehaved with an IIT Delhi girl student traveling on a train.
Indian Railways have a range of trains from dawn until evening. The Railway tries its level best to keep each passenger comfortable. But recently a case of bad conduct in the Punjab Mail train surfaced. In fact, the Ticket Inspector (TTE) behaved inappropriately with a female student from IIT Delhi who was on a train.
This is a case from a Punjab Mail train in which an IIT Delhi girl student was traveling by train. The female student had a confirmed third AC ticket. Still, at 1.30 am, a blanket and a sheet from a female student sleeping on a train got pulled. The accused started quarreling with her on finding her alone.
The student said that around 1:30 in the night, the ticket inspector came in the coach and started pulling the blanket and sheet. After that, he started arguing with her and tried to lift her from her seat. When the girl said that her ticket was confirmed, the accused started abusing her in anger.
The victim's father said that he had complained to the railway officials but no action was taken. He demands from the Railway Minister that he should be given justice. No daughter can travel alone on a train like this.
The 19-year-old student studies at IIT Delhi. On February 5, his daughter boarded the Punjab Mail train from Faridkot to Delhi. The daughter's coach number was B-one, third AC and seat number was 27. Which was a confirmed ticket. The PNR number was 2329499027.
