Gold remained stable at Rs 66,400 per ten grams, silver fell by Rs 100

Gold Silver Price: There was no change in the price of gold in the Delhi bullion market on Monday and it remained stable at Rs 66,400 per 10 grams. Silver prices fell by Rs 100 to Rs 75,500 per kg on Monday, while in the previous trading session, silver had closed at Rs 75,600 per kg.

Monday's gold price in the Delhi bullion market was steady at Rs 66,400 per 10 grammes. Monday saw little change in the price of precious metals, which had reached an all-time high during the previous trading day. "After reaching an all-time high in the previous session, gold prices stayed stable on Monday," stated Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst for commodities at HDFC Securities.

Nevertheless, during this time, the price of silver dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 75,500 per kg, while it had closed at Rs 75,600 per kg during the previous trading session. In the global market, the price of silver reached $24.29 per ounce, while the spot price of gold on Comex reached $2,180.

"According to data released on Friday, US employment data is better than February's forecast. However, wage growth slowed down, indicating healthy economic growth and moderate inflation," Gandhi said.

Praveen Singh, Assistant Vice President (Fundamental Currency and Commodities), Sharekhan by BNP Paribas, said that traders will keep their eyes on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data coming on Tuesday and US macroeconomic data.
