Global Competence Centers (GCCs) expect to create 4.25-4.5 lakh new jobs this year. It can increase to over 10 lakh in the next six years. In this, 35% of the companies are targeting to increase the number of employees by 50-100%.

According to the report of NLB Services, India has emerged as the top GCC destination due to its huge skilled workforce and supportive policies. The sector is expected to employ 33 lakh professionals by 2030. GCCs in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai are set to drive the demand for freshers. Preparing the youth for the next generation of innovators, 42% of GCCs are expected to increase their workforce by a significant 50% by the calendar year 2030.

More than 61% of GCCs of Indian companies perceive female recruitment will go over 50% in 2030, a 7% increase over present times. India's position as a GCC hub for the entire world continues to build momentum. Hubs will go over 2,100 in 2030, taking the market value to almost $100 billion.

Hiring in sectors such as technology, finance, and manufacturing is increasing in India's GCCs. Financial services will have the largest demand at 79%. Marketing and digital advertisement (73%) will also rank high in terms of activity with companies preferring a digital path. Adoption of a national framework in the FY26 Budget will stimulate GCC development in secondary and tertiary city locations.
