Novak Djokovic reached the Miami Open final for the first time in 2016 by beating Grigor Dimitrov and with this, he is now one step away from his 100th ATP title. As per the report of BBC, 37-year-old Djokovic, ranked number five in the world, won five games in a row to take the first set. Dimitrov started the second set poorly and the 24-time Grand Slam champion took advantage of that to win 6-2, 6-3.

Djokovic said, "After winning my 99th title at the Paris Olympics, I am playing with the possibility of winning a special 100 titles. I am trying to find that much-needed level of tennis that will put me in a position to fight for a major trophy. I am very happy with the way I have prepared for the tournament and the way I am playing. I have not lost a single set."

He said, "It is a great opportunity. Let's see what happens in two days." Windy conditions started the game well for 33-year-old Dimitrov, seeded 14th, who won the first game on Djokovic's serve but could not take advantage of it. Meanwhile, a fan was ejected for saying something to disturb Dimitrov, after which the Bulgarian player started the second set slowly.

Dimitrov, last year's beaten finalist, won his three service games, but Djokovic was too good. The six-time Miami Open champion made only five unforced errors to his opponent's 32. "There were some tough games in the last part of the match," Djokovic said.
