Earlier, more than 80 flights of Air India Express were canceled. According to the information, the crew members of the airline have largely gone on leave citing illness. In such a situation, these flights have been canceled. Civil aviation authorities are keeping an eye on this issue. Tata Group unit Air India Express is in the process of merging AIX Connect (formerly AirAsia India) with itself. Due to this, the crew members of this airline have been angry for some time.
Political parties have called on the government to act immediately in response to the last-minute cancellation of international flights by Air India Express and the protests by irate travelers at Keralan airports. On Wednesday, the CPI and Congress both called for the Central Government to step in right away to address the issue.
