Arvind Dharmapuri on KCR: 'Steering wheel in KCR's hands means...', BJP MP's direct attack on BRS

Telangana BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri on Monday took a dig at Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao. The BJP MP said that if "the steering wheel of Bharat Rashtra Samithi is in the hands of KCR, it means it is in the hands of a drunkard".

Dharmapuri's sharp attack came in reaction to the remarks of KCR's son and Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) in which he had said that the steering of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government was safe in the hands of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao but The steering of BJP government is not in the hands of PM Modi. He also alleged that the governance of the BJP government has gone into the hands of industrialist Adani.

MP Dharmapuri, reacting to the remarks made by the Prime Minister during his speech in Mahabubnagar on Sunday, said, "If the steering wheel of the party (BRS) is in the hands of KCR, it means it is in the hands of a drunkard and the party Not in safe hands. The most cultureless language you speak in the entire political history of this country." You are not even close to PM Modi's toe."

Meanwhile, KTR on Monday also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission. KTR sarcastically said, "Today, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, some leaders are sitting in Delhi giving slogans of Swachh Bharat, Ye Swachh, Vo Swachh." There will not be much work related to Gandhiji. There will be programs to get photographs clicked here and there and to remember Gandhiji just for the sake of namesake.”

He further said, "However, keeping in mind Gandhi's ideas of cleanliness, we have emphasized on clean Telangana."
