New Delhi [India], September 13: Renowned fashion designer Subhadip Mitra, founder of Subhadip Mitra Couture Brand, has officially launched the brand’s highly anticipated 2024 Puja Collection. The unveiling occurred at the historic and iconic Shovabazar Rajbari in Kolkata, a location steeped in tradition and heritage. This blend of aristocratic Puja fashion with the grandeur of a heritage site sets the tone for this year’s collection.

Durga Puja-A festival synonymous with Bengali pride and culture, is just 15 days away. The excitement is palpable, and this collection reflects that anticipation. The 2024 Puja Collection emphasizes the elegance of ethnic wear, with the brand presenting DHUTI and PUNJABI for men and SAREE for women. The collection takes a traditional base and incorporates a modern fusion, adding a contemporary twist that is sure to resonate with today’s generation.

The theme for today’s photoshoot, The Story of Craftsmanship, is a celebration of Bengal’s rich heritage in textile arts, such as TANT, BALUCHARI, and HAND, PRINTING, and KANTHA STITCH.

The designer aims to preserve these traditional crafts while giving them a contemporary flair, making them accessible and appealing to a modern audience.

Several fresh and professional models participated in the shoot, which was planned with a fusion of traditional and modern aesthetics.
