Sai Sudharsan missed a century, Gujarat Titans set a huge target of 218 runs in front of Rajasthan Royals

Due to the great batting performance of opener Sai Sudharsan, Gujarat Titans (GT) have posed a mammoth target of 218 runs in front of Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. In the ongoing season, any team has so far reached just one target of over 180 runs, so this target will not be an easy task for Rajasthan.
Batting first, Gujarat managed to score 217 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Sai Sudharsan played an excellent inning for the team and contributed 82 runs in 53 balls with the support of 8 fours and 3 sixes. Besides him, Jos Buttler contributed 36 runs in 25 balls, whereas Shahrukh Khan played a swift score of 36 runs in 20 balls.
Gujarat suffered the first blow at just 14 runs when Jofra Archer clean-bowled captain Shubman Gill and sent him to the pavilion. Gill could score only 2 runs. After this, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler handled the innings and made an important partnership of 80 runs for the second wicket. On the score of 94, Mahesh Teekshana got the second success for Rajasthan by dismissing Buttler LBW.
After this, Sai Sudharsan got the support of Shahrukh Khan and both added 62 runs for the third wicket. At the score of 154 runs, Teekshana once again brought success, this time he got Shahrukh Khan caught by Sanju Samson.
