We're just days away from the completely redesigned Kia Sonet. While we wait, the carmaker has started teasing the updated SUV, giving us a glimpse of everything that's changed. A new teaser of the new Sonet has been released showing more details. If the report is believed, it will enter with the ADAS feature. Let us tell you in detail about the new 2024 Kia Sonet to be launched.
The 2024 Sonet is all set to make its official debut on December 14. Some dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the Sonet facelift at a token amount of Rs 25,000. Official pre-bookings for the sub-4 meter SUV are expected to begin from December 14 while the pricing is expected to be announced in January 2024.
The Sonet facelift also gets other cosmetic upgrades. It has a new rear bumper which can be seen in the new teaser. Previous teasers had confirmed that the front fascia will also be redesigned. The bumpers and grille now look better.
The headlamps are also new and are full-LED units. New LED daytime running lamps are also on offer as we have seen on the new Seltos. Apart from this, the fog lamps are now placed horizontally and are much thinner.
Kia will also offer a new set of mixed metal wheels with the 2024 Sonet. There will not be many updates in the cabin of Sonet. The teaser already shows a new digital instrument cluster, a Bose sound system and a touchscreen infotainment system.
We hope the carmaker will give the 2024 Sonet a new seat upholstery and climate control panel. The teaser of the facelifted SUV revealed that it will have a 10.25-inch touchscreen like the old model.
The Kia Sonet facelift is expected to be priced at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) when it goes on sale in early 2024. It will give tough competition to Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Renault.
