With a 98 km range on a single charge, the Lectrix EV has introduced the new LXS 2.0 electric scooter to the Indian market. Priced at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom), the new Lectrix LXS 2.0 has a 2.3 kWh battery pack that the company claims is unique in the industry.

Lectrix thinks the new LXS 2.0 satisfies the range, quality, and price—three critical customer needs. The Lectrix LXS 2.0 is now accepting preorders, with deliveries scheduled to begin in March 2024.

With a larger 3 kWh battery pack, the new Lectrix LXS 2.0 electric scooter is positioned below the LXS 3.0 electric scooter. Except for the reduced battery capacity, the model is unchanged. The 2.2 kW (2.9 bhp) BLDC hub motor of this e-scooter has a top speed restriction of 60 kmph.

Additional features include follow-me headlamp functionality, 10-inch tyres on the front and rear (90/110 and 110/90), and 25 litres of under-seat storage.

Lectrix is aiming its new LXS 2.0 electric scooter at first-time purchasers and is providing a 3-year/30,000-kilometer warranty. The model includes many advanced features including an anti-theft system and emergency SOS.
