Despite this, he returned to the CSK team before the match against Mumbai Indians and was included in the playing eleven. Mukesh is known for his calm and composed nature. Wearing the yellow jersey, he entered the middle of the field in the same manner as he had in previous matches. He showed no outward signs of grief. He bowled with the same intensity with the new ball and achieved success in his very first over. He took a wicket, which he dedicated to his mother. After winning the match, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad went to Mukesh, hugged him (Mukesh looked very emotional at the time), spoke with him for a while, and then left for the presentation.
