Only four days have passed since the renowned Indian billionaire Gautam Adani established yet another wholly-owned subsidiary in the name of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL). Now, Gautam Adani seems once more to stir the world of Indian aviation.

The flagship company of the Adani Group, Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), states that a new subsidiary is going to be formed for expanding their scope of operations. It is the second company formation announcement in just four days by the Adani Group. In a press note to stock exchanges like BSE and NSE, the group states that the company is known as 'AACL Global IFSC Limited' (AACL Global).

Adani Airport City Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, incorporated a new company named 'AACL Global' on July 15, 2026. The company received its Certificate of Incorporation on August 7, 2026, and the information was made public on August 8, 2026.

According to reports, 'AACL Global' will primarily operate in the financial services sector, with a specific focus on treasury and finance operations. The company has been created to carry out the activities of a 'Global Treasury Center' under the IFSCA (Finance Companies) Regulations, 2021. This move is being seen as a step towards further strengthening the Adani Group's financial management globally.

AACL Global IFSC Limited has been formed with a paid-up share capital of ₹500,000. This comprises 50,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 per share. Significantly, Adani Airport City Limited holds a 100% stake in this new company, making it a step-down subsidiary of Adani Enterprises.

This move by the Adani Group indicates its intention to bring its airport business, along with its associated financial services and treasury management, under a single structure. Operating as a global treasury center will facilitate fund management and financial operations internationally.
