Hero MotoCorp is always striving hard to make its portfolio appealing. Hero MotoCorp has just released a teaser of an upcoming bike that has resemblance to the Hero MotoCorp's Xtreme 160R 4V. The bike has slight modifications in terms of aesthetics and will come with a TFT cluster.
Recently, Hero MotoCorp has launched a teaser of its upcoming Xtreme bike. The teaser only gives a glimpse of the exhaust part that seems to be somewhat same as that of the Xtreme 160R 2V or 4V. However, nothing much could be said about this teaser but it surely reveals the presence of rear tire hugger that is hinged at both ends.
This video depicts a motorcycle burnout with the caption 'Gear Up To Live Xtreme.' This motorcycle will go on sale on October 16th or 17th.
On the launch date, it will compete with other 160cc sporty bikes such as the recently launched Bajaj Pulsar N160 4V and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. At present, the price of Xtreme 160R 4V ranges from ₹1.35 lakh for the non-ETB variant and ₹1.38 lakh for the ETB variant.
Launched in November 2025, the Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition featured several updates, including an electronic throttle body, cruise control, three riding modes, new Class D LED headlights, and a color LCD instrument cluster. This LCD cluster supports Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and other connected features.
However, the caption of Hero Motocorp's Instagram post described it as a TFT cluster, leading many to believe it was an LCD cluster, but that wasn't the case.
Hero may offer a TFT cluster on the Xtreme 160R 4V. Its rivals offer a TFT cluster with Google Maps Mirroring. Additionally, it could offer features like panic braking alert, all-LED lighting, three ride modes, cruise control, and ETB. The new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is expected to be powered by the same engine as before.
This is a 163.2cc single-cylinder engine with a 4V head and oil cooler that produces 16.9 PS and 14.6 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Disc brakes on both sides, dual-channel ABS, radial tires, KYB USD front forks, and a rear monoshock. Other components are expected to remain the same.
