In celebration of the 125 years of Royal Enfield, an edition of the Classic 650 bike called Hypershift has been unveiled. The showroom price of this new model stands at ₹425,589. However, the company has made it clear that there will be only 125 units of this bike worldwide, including in India. Applications for the edition are starting from today and will continue till October 28th.

This Hypershift model of the Classic 650 is technically the same as the ordinary Classic 650. It does not have any technical differences from its ordinary version. What makes it different from other bikes is the Hypershift finish that it has. This finish features a 125-year crust on the teardrop tank, special badging on the side panels, and hand-painted pinstripes.

The Classic 650 was first launched in 2025. It features the same 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine as the Interceptor 650, producing 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of torque. Its chassis is borrowed from the Super Meteor 650, which is currently the most expensive Royal Enfield 650, priced at ₹4.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

While the Super Meteor features USD forks, the Classic features RCU telescopic forks instead, with the twin-shock travel reduced from 101 mm to 90 mm.

The Classic 650 Hypershift is priced at Rs 4.26 lakh, which is Rs 58,000 more than the base Vallam Red (Rs 3.68 lakh, ex-showroom) and Rs 43,500 more expensive than the top-of-the-line Black Chrome colour (Rs 3.82 lakh, ex-showroom).
