According to reports from Thursday, the new Ai+ Nova 2 Power will soon make its way into India as part of the Nova 2 series. The brand has been teasing some aspects of the upcoming smartphone via an online store over the last few weeks, such as the processor, battery, colors, and storage capacity.

The upcoming Ai+ smartphone is expected to run on the nxtQ OS and be powered by the MediaTek processor. The brand plans to release its new handset in India on September 19th, at 12:00 PM (IST). From the teaser picture above, it is clear that, just like its other smartphones, the upcoming Ai+ smartphone will be sold via Flipkart.

Previously, the company revealed that the upcoming smartphone would come in five different color options, including Deep Purple, Blue Fusion, Golden Blue Fusion, Midnight Black, and Ocean Green. Some variants will come with gradient finishing while others have a solid finish.

In terms of design, the rear panel of the Ai+ Nova 2 Power features a slightly raised, square-shaped camera module, flanked by two large circular camera rings, along with an LED flash and another circular element. The camera module also bears the 48-megapixel Ai Camera branding, suggesting a 48-megapixel primary shooter.

The Ai+ logo is located at the bottom of the rear panel, while the power button on the right side has a red accent. Ai+ has previously confirmed that the Nova 2 Power will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. The smartphone is also expected to run on the company's nxtQ OS. It will be offered in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB RAM and onboard storage options.

The Nova 2 Power is confirmed to feature a 7,000mAh lithium-polymer battery with 33W fast charging support. Ai+ claims that this battery is capable of delivering a full day's backup on a single charge.
