The appointments were made with effect from July 22, 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval. The decision was taken at a Board meeting convened to restore the requisite quorum following the cessation of the company’s Independent Directors. Both Sharma and Kumar have been designated as Executive Directors, indicating their active involvement in the company’s management and operational revival.

Vipin Sharma is a promoter of Elitecon International and a second-generation entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience across regulated industries. He previously served as Managing Director of the company and was instrumental in expanding its manufacturing base, brand portfolio and international presence. He stepped down from active corporate responsibilities in April 2026 and has now returned to an executive role as the company seeks to strengthen its operations.

Pradeep Kumar joins the Board from within the Elitecon group. He previously served as a director of Golden Cryo Private Limited, a subsidiary of Elitecon International. Kumar brings more than 23 years of leadership experience in construction and infrastructure, along with experience in tobacco-industry operations.

The company said the leadership changes are aimed at strengthening the Board and supporting its operational revival as banking operations resume. The appointments are initially valid until the company’s next Annual General Meeting or the last date on which the AGM should have been held, whichever is earlier, subject to shareholder approval.

The leadership reshuffle comes as Elitecon International works on its broader expansion and revival plans. The company had earlier outlined a ₹7,000 million FMCG expansion roadmap and capacity enhancement initiatives, signalling its focus on scaling up business operations.

The stock has witnessed significant volatility in recent sessions. Elitecon International shares had touched an intraday high of ₹18.90 on August 4, 2026, before subsequently declining to ₹10.65 on August 31, according to market data.

The latest appointments assume significance for investors as the company seeks to reinforce its leadership structure, strengthen its operations and accelerate its broader revival and expansion plans.
