POVA brings a new AI layer to smartphones and earbuds

More than just a smartphone display

The POVA 8 series includes the POVA 8 and POVA 8 Pro. The POVA 8 Pro 5G comes with an AI Assistant that can record, transcribe and summarise regular and Whatsapp calls, with support for English, Hindi, Bengali and Marathi.

Another feature is the Alive Matrix Display, which gives users a quick view of notifications, battery status and timers. When the phone is placed face down, it can also double as a desk clock.

AI that travels with your earbuds

The Pova AI buds bring a different set of AI capabilities into the audio experience. Users can record audio with a press on the charging case and later access a transcript, summary and action points.

The earbuds also support real time translation across 12 Indian languages. This gives them a practical role beyond listening to music, particularly when communication involves different languages.

One connected approach

The two products approach AI from different sides. The smartphone focuses on information and communication, while the earbuds add recording and translation capabilities without requiring users to stay in front of a screen.

That makes the ecosystem less about having one device packed with features and more about giving different devices useful roles throughout the day.

For users, the appeal may be the simplest part: the technology fits into devices they already carry and use, without asking them to completely change their routine.
