Lord’s Mark Industries Limited has announced a series of strategic initiatives across diagnostics, medical devices, healthcare delivery and renewable energy, outlining an ambitious growth roadmap for the coming years.
The company expects consolidated revenue of at least ₹1,550 crore in FY2027, representing growth of more than 20%, while PAT is expected to reach at least ₹178 crore, with an 11.4% margin. The company expects PAT growth of more than 50%, alongside a margin improvement of at least 200 basis points.
According to the company, the majority of FY27 growth is expected to come from its established in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and renewable energy & LED businesses. From FY28 onwards, the company expects a meaningful contribution from its sickle cell testing and medical devices businesses, including Onco Spectra and TB Truth.
Renewable Energy & LED Business Demerger
As part of its strategic restructuring, Lord’s Mark Industries has proposed the demerger of its Renewable Energy & LED division into Lords Shakti Power Limited.
The company will hold a 60% stake in the resulting entity, while existing shareholders will receive shares in the new company in proportion to their existing holdings. The scheme is proposed to be filed by March 2027.
The demerger is aimed at allowing the energy business to pursue its capital programme independently, while enabling the company’s healthcare and diagnostics operations to be valued on their own fundamentals. Lords Shakti Power is also expected to enter the power transmission business through transformer manufacturing.
Entry Into CAR-T Cell Therapy
Lord’s Mark Industries is also set to enter the advanced cancer treatment segment through an exclusive India agreement with a leading global manufacturer of CAR-T cell therapy.
Under the proposed arrangement, the company plans to establish laboratory and treatment capabilities across five centres in India. The first two centres are planned for Mumbai and Bengaluru, with operations targeted to commence by March 2027.
The company intends to offer CAR-T treatment at a substantially lower price point than currently available, with the objective of expanding access to the therapy among Indian patients.
Expanding Diagnostics Presence in the UK and Europe
The company has established Lords Mark Industries UK Limited, which is targeted to become operational from January 2027.
The UK subsidiary will operate a pathology laboratory supplied with rapid test kits, analysers and biochemistry reagents manufactured and exported by the company’s Indian operations. It will also supply diagnostic materials to other laboratories in the UK.
An application for NHS approval has been submitted, potentially opening a developed-market channel for Lord’s Mark’s IVD manufacturing capabilities.
The company is also in the process of establishing Lords Mark Industries Swiss Limited, which will pursue a similar model in Switzerland, including a captive pathology laboratory and wholesale supply of diagnostic materials to laboratories in the market.
Oncology Hospital Network Planned
Lord’s Mark Industries has established Lords Mark Medicine Limited to enter healthcare delivery through a network of owned oncology hospitals, particularly in tier-2 cities.
The programme will initially include two pilot hospitals of approximately 70 beds each in Vapi and Solapur, targeted to open by March 2027. The company proposes to fund the initial programme through a debt raise of approximately ₹200 crore in December 2026.
The hospital network is also expected to create a captive channel for the company’s diagnostics and medical device businesses.
Dialysis Network to Reach 50 Centres
The company plans to establish 50 dialysis centres across India by March 2027.
The centres will operate from rented premises and will be equipped with three to five of Lord’s Mark’s own RENALOS dialysis machines. The asset-light model is expected to limit capital requirements while allowing faster expansion.
Importantly, the initiative is expected to shift the dialysis business beyond equipment sales towards recurring, session-based healthcare service revenue.
OneDNA and Biomescan Strengthen Diagnostics Portfolio
Lord’s Mark has also advanced its genomics and digital healthcare initiatives.
The company has completed patient trials for its OneDNA genomic testing platform and received approval from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Its application to the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is currently under process.
Meanwhile, its Biomescan Analytics Platform has received a manufacturing licence as an In Vitro Diagnostic Software (Software as a Medical Device or SaMD) under the Medical Devices Rules, 2017. The platform is positioned as a wellness and health-information tool focused on preventive healthcare and early health-risk assessment.
