Kochi (Kerala) [India], August 25: Karnataka’s Harini Anand has been crowned Miss Asia Global India 2026 and will represent India at the prestigious Miss Asia Global 2026 pageant, scheduled to be held in Penang, Malaysia, in October.
Harini was crowned at a ceremony held at Saj Earth Resort, Kochi, by Dr. Ajit Ravi, Chairman of Pegasus, along with MD Pegasus Jebitha Ajit. She was presented with the prestigious gold-studded crown, marking the beginning of her journey towards the international pageant.
A BA Liberal Arts graduate from Karnataka, Harini is now pursuing modelling and acting as a full-time profession. She will carry the Indian flag on the international stage as she competes with contestants representing 35 countries from across the world at Miss Asia Global 2026.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ajit Ravi, Chairman of Pegasus, expressed confidence in Harini’s abilities and said, “We hope she will bring the Miss Asia Global title to India.”
Harini’s participation is expected to showcase India’s emerging modelling and pageant talent on an international platform. With contestants from 35 countries competing for the coveted crown, the pageant promises to be a highly competitive global event.
Harini Anand is now preparing to represent India in Penang, Malaysia, this October, with hopes of bringing the Miss Asia Global 2026 crown home.
