Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, who has initiated a movement against vote rigging, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, announced that this movement will not stop, whatever time it may take, be it days, months, or even years.
He even made the sensational allegation that over 200 senior government officials have contacts with him and provide him with information from every nook and corner of the country, even the CBI and ED. He didn’t mention any name.
Before the march in a press conference, the Congress party leader called the march of the opposition leaders to the Supreme Court a “Shiv Barat” and called on all citizens to join.
He said that if someone cannot participate directly, they should raise their voice wherever they are, in whatever form, because this is a fight to protect the Constitution.
Referring to the opposition's move to approach the Supreme Court, the Congress leader said that they will expose what is happening to the country's democracy through vote theft and will not allow it to happen. He said that Delhi has been turned into a fortress and 30,000 police personnel are deployed.
But the opposition's strategy is different, and they want to show the country that by fortifying Delhi, the Prime Minister is trying to protect Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
They are shutting down the entire city simply because the opposition and youth are raising questions about election rigging, but this fortification cannot suppress the voice of the people.
Claiming that five people, including Gyanesh Kumar, are accused of vote theft, he said that these people have attacked the very essence and soul of India, and therefore, we will neither retreat nor stop, no matter how long it takes.
Taking aim at the Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi said that we have Narendra Modi's blueprint, his horoscope, and he also knows this.
