The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is all set for yet another update. Recently the motorcycle has been spotted in a new red color variant at a dealership center. These latest images reveal that the motorcycle comes with a predominantly red color theme along with white and black accents. The image has been posted by Sahil Sagar. Let us see how much this new update will impact the Hero Karizma XMR 250.
The updated Hero Karizma XMR 250 gets red color on its fuel tank, front fender, and the elevated rear tail section. The white accents present on the fender along with the white-colored front fender further enhance its appearance. The motorcycle also comes with a black color insert on the fuel tank and black side panels.
The Karizma lettering can be seen on the fuel tank of the motorcycle and there is the presence of large XMR graphics on the lower fender of the bike. It comes with black color alloy wheels, black mirrors, and golden finished USD front forks. The bike retains its tall transparent windscreen, angular front lighting, fairing-mounted winglets, and split-seat layout.
Including the latest red color, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 has been seen in three different color combinations so far. The bike was unveiled at EICMA 2025 in white with red accents. Subsequently, in July 2026, the motorcycle was spotted at dealerships in a black and red color combination. The newly revealed model features a prominent red color, while white and black elements further distinguish its design. However, it is not yet confirmed whether these three color schemes will be available in India at launch.
The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is expected to share the same 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the Hero Xtreme 250R. Previously reported, this engine could generate 30 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque. It is likely to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike has previously been reported to feature a trellis frame, USD front forks, and a rear monoshock suspension. Braking is expected to include disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS. A digital instrument console with connectivity and navigation support are also potential features.
During the delay in the Hero Karizma XMR 250's launch, competition in the segment has intensified. The Yamaha R2 has been launched in India, with a starting price of around ₹2.31 lakh (ex-showroom). It will also compete with the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and KTM RC 200.
The appearance of the new red bike at dealerships indicates that developments are ongoing regarding the motorcycle. According to reports, Hero may launch it in the coming months. However, the company has not yet confirmed an official launch date, price, or available color options in India.
