Jaipur: Registrations have opened for ‘Teen Miss Rajasthan’, billed as Rajasthan’s first state pageant for teenage girls. The contest aims to help young girls of the state build their talent, confidence and personality, and to give them recognition at the national and international level. Girls aged 13 to 19 can take part, and auditions will be held in Jaipur.
200 Entries Already, 1,000+ Expected
Ekta Jain, Founder Director of Teen Miss Rajasthan, said the pageant’s goal is to give Rajasthan’s young talent a big platform. About 200 entries have come in since registrations opened, and the organisers expect more than 1,000 girls to register this time.
That early response points to a gap the pageant is trying to fill. Rajasthan has adult pageants, but teenage girls have had few structured state-level platforms to build stage presence, communication skills and self-confidence before college or a career. For many families in smaller towns, a recognised state platform can also be the first real step towards national exposure.
Who Can Participate
Rajasthan origin is mandatory. A participant must have a connection to Rajasthan, which means she was either born in the state or is a native of Rajasthan. Applicants will have to submit a valid Rajasthan-related identity document as proof.
The pageant’s main draw is its pathway forward. Selected contestants and winners will get the opportunity to showcase their talent at the national level and then on international stages, representing the country.
Auditions on 15 November, Grand Finale on 21 December
Auditions will be held on 15 November at Hotel Prime Safari, Jaipur. The grand finale is scheduled for 21 December at Bilwa Palace, Jaipur. The official poster of the pageant was also launched.
Present at the launch were Founder Director Ekta Jain, Miss Rajasthan organiser Yogesh Mishra, and Shailja Suri, who is handling grooming and choreography, along with other members of the organising team.
Pageants for teenagers work best when they focus on personality development rather than appearance alone. With a dedicated grooming and choreography lead and a clear national-to-international pathway, Teen Miss Rajasthan positions itself as a confidence-building platform for girls from across the state. It also links into the established Miss Rajasthan ecosystem through Yogesh Mishra’s involvement. If the organisers’ estimate of more than 1,000 registrations holds, the pageant could quickly become one of the state’s largest youth talent events.
