Google is launching its Google AI Plus plan subscription for one year for college-going students in India. This subscription package will be available for college going students in India and it will provide students with access to various AI-powered apps. Apart from increased usage limit on Gemini, students will also get extra cloud storage space through the subscription plan. The company has even added a new 'Student Hub' to the Gemini app for easy access to all the study-related tools and features.

Students can use this subscription plan by visiting the Google One Plans website and logging in with your Google account. Students should visit the Google AI Plus Plan and tap on the 'Get student offer' tab and choose the 'Continue' tab.

After that, students have to verify their college going status by providing all the required information. After successful verification, students will get one-year free access to Google AI Plus subscription plan. However, keep in mind that you need to turn off auto payment for the plan once the period of free access expires; otherwise ₹399 will be automatically deducted from your account.

This plan offers a total of 400GB of storage for Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail. Additionally, Gemini offers 2x higher usage limits than standard users. Additionally, there's greater access to Google's AI Creative Studio for creating cinematic scenes and stories, and enhanced support for the Nano Banana feature in Search. Users will also be able to use Gemini directly within Gmail. Gemini Notebook offers enhanced access to research tools, including audio-video overviews and quizzes.

Google has also added a dedicated Student Hub to the Gemini app. It's designed to make it easier for students to find and use Gemini's study features. Students can use this hub to create study notebooks, create flashcards, and take practice quizzes. Google says it will add more learning tools to this hub in the future.
