On May 28, Tata Motors is going to launch the latest facelift of Tiago. Significant changes were made concerning the car appearance, interior, and additional features. The car is supposed to be available with petrol ICE, CNG, and electric EV engines. This is the first significant facelift since the introduction of the current model.

The Tiago exterior looks significantly sharper. As for the electric version, the changes will be identical. New eyebrow-like LED DRLs were added to the front headlights. The rear lamps will now feature vertically placed LED elements connecting to each other via the company logo. The rear wiper, "Tiago" logo on the tailgate, new bumper, and vertical reflectors were introduced as well.

As far as the Tiago 2026 facelift interior goes, you can expect quite an overhaul there too. Black and light gray color schemes will still dominate the place, while the dashboard will become more vertical. The two-spoke steering wheel was introduced. At the same time, the "TIAGO" emblem will be located at the lower part of the dashboard, right near the climate controls.

Among the additional equipment, one can mention a floating infotainment display screen. Besides, the driver's instrument cluster will become floating too. This will be one of the biggest improvements to be introduced, providing many more additional features to the car.

Available options will include petrol ICE, CNG, and EV engines. The EV variant looks very similar to the ICE version but differs through body-color panels and vertical slats at the bottom instead of black parts.

This release is going to reinforce Tata's position in the segment of competition including such models as Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Meaning of 'Facelift': When an auto company relaunches an existing car without changing its engine or platform, but only cosmetically updates its exterior (bumpers, grille, lights) and interior, it is called a 'facelift' model. Companies do this every 3-4 years to keep the car fresh and stay competitive.
