This automobile manufacturer has launched its first electric car, called Urban Cruiser Ebella, in India. The E3 variant is available at the ex-showroom price of ₹23.60 lakh. It adopts the platform of Maruti Suzuki's E-Vitara and is one of Toyota's first entries into the mid-size electric sports utility vehicle market.
The Urban Cruiser Ebella resembles the E-Vitara but differs in terms of design. The car has its own front end that represents Toyota's global design philosophy with a sculpted bonnet, along with distinct side lines. It has a wheelbase of 2700 mm, a length of 4,285 mm, a width of 1,800 mm, and an approximate height of 1,640 mm.
To further enhance the design of this electric SUV, it comes in several color options, including Cafe White, Bluish Black, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, and Enticing Silver. Dual-tone options include Cafe White, Land Breeze Green, Sportin Red, and Enticing Silver. All of these dual-tone options feature a black roof.
This new electric vehicle comes with a dual-tone black and brown interior. The dashboard design is similar to the one seen on the Maruti E-Vitara. It comes with a panoramic sunroof, 10.1-inch infotainment display, ventilated seats, wireless charging pad, JBL sound system, ambient lighting, dial-type gear shift knob, air purifier, climate control and others.
In terms of safety, the car includes seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. The top-of-the-line E3 variant features a 61kWh battery pack. This car generates 171 hp of power and 193 Nm of peak torque. This variant is claimed to offer a range of 543 km on a single full charge.
