Republican Party of India (Bhimrao Ambedkar) Forges Historic Tripartite Alliance for Social Justice and Equality in Tamil Nadu

Bhimrao Yashwantrao Ambedkar, grandson of Nation Builder Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and the architect of this alliance, expressed his deep satisfaction with the arrangement and stated, “As the representative of Republican Party of India, I bring the proud legacy of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to Tamil Nadu. We have found strong common ground with both the parties led by V.K. Sasikala and Dr. S. Ramadoss. I am truly excited to promote Ambedkar’s core values of justice, equality, and empowerment through this alliance. The Republican Party of India (Bhimrao Ambedkar) will field two dedicated and experienced leaders as its candidates in this crucial election. K. Raja, General Secretary of the party, will contest from Tirumayam Assembly Constituency (No. 181), while K. Thangaraj, President of RPI Tamil Nadu, will contest from K.V. Kuppam Assembly Constituency (No. 45). Both candidates bring with them a strong grassroots connection, unwavering dedication to Ambedkarite ideology, and a proven track record of advocating for the rights of the oppressed. Their participation underscores the party’s resolve to carry the voice of the voiceless directly into the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

V.K. Sasikala, leader of the All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, expressed her vision for the alliance by stating, “We are forging a new path of unity and people’s welfare. This alliance with RPI and Dr. Ramadoss will ensure that every working hand gets employment and no one is forced to migrate from villages to cities in search of jobs. Ramadoss, the founder of Pattali Makkal Katchi and a tireless champion of backward communities, particularly the Vanniyars, highlighted the deeper purpose of this collaboration: “For decades, I have fought for the rights of backward sections and social justice. This alliance represents a powerful union committed to reservation, equity, and a liquor-free Tamil Nadu. We will work tirelessly to create a prosperous state that truly uplifts every section of society and moves beyond empty promises.”

Echoing Babasaheb Ambedkar’s call for political power as the master key to social progress, K. Raja declared, “This is far more than an electoral understanding, it is a historic social and political awakening. Inspired by Babasaheb’s ideals of equality and justice, we will take the concerns of Dalits, backward classes, and the deprived straight to the Tamil Nadu Assembly. We appeal to all justice-loving citizens of Tamil Nadu to join us in building a brighter, more equitable future.”
