MET Honoured by Dr Shashi Tharoor at India@2047 Summit, IIT Delhi

Dr Shashi Tharoor, who graced the event as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, addressed the audience on the urgency of aligning India’s institutions – educational, corporate, and governmental – with the country’s long-term global ambitions. The India@2047 Summit brought together leaders from corporate, academic, and policy circles to deliberate on India’s roadmap as the nation approaches the centenary of its independence in 2047. Hosted at IIT Delhi, one of the country’s premier institutions for science and technology, the summit served as a platform for cross-sector dialogue on the reforms, innovation, and institution-building required to position India among the world’s leading economies and knowledge powers over the next two decades. Discussions at the summit spanned emerging technology, education reform, entrepreneurship, and India’s evolving role in global diplomacy.
